Volunteer Opportunities in India

Volunteering in India has to make a big difference and change the lives of local communities in need.
Savior Foundation volunteering is a great opportunity to learn about a new culture from the inside out.
Volunteering in India is amazing for people who already know the Indian culture and a surprising atmosphere for those who do not know the culture.
Volunteering is a memorable moment in life where you give back to the community.
By participating in the volunteer programs in India, Saviour Foundation offers you the opportunity to improve the lives of people in rural areas and teach them English, teach poor children, work in the Women Empowerment Program for underprivileged women, work in an orphanage, participate in health programs

Volunteering Opportunities in Saviour Foundation:

Saviour Foundation volunteer opportunities allow the general public to make a real difference in the lives of people, animals and the environment. You can volunteer as a homemaker, business person, student or high school student, retiree, etc. The Saviour Foundation welcomes anyone who has a desire to work for the benefit of the environment and our community of residents and animals.

Saviour Foundation's Mission Education

The Saviour Foundation has a Mission Education programme that seeks out and supports gifted students from economically disadvantaged families. It is one of India’s most effective NGO programmes in closing the quality gaps in schooling and helping India improve its ranking in social development indicators. The Mission Education programme provides preschool education (ages 3-6), formal education (ages 6-18), and bridge courses (ages 6-18). Our volunteer programme for street children requires a great commitment and contribution from the volunteers. The project (school) is located in the neighbourhood of their community. Thank you to people like you, the children here can receive free education, school supplies and uniforms to go to school every day.

  • Teaching Opportunities:  The Volunteering Teaching Program does not require any special qualifications. Volunteers must have the zeal to pass on their knowledge to the poor and needy children and make a small contribution to their education.
  • Project Activities:Your main role as a medical volunteer will be to observe the event and provide on-site assistance as we request. You may treat minor injuries or wounds and document patient records. Tasks and activities will vary from day to day.
  • An impactful journey of self-development:  The impact you make while volunteering for a nonprofit can last a lifetime, both for you and for those you have helped along your journey. Becoming a Saviour Foundation member gives you the confidence to make a difference and contribute to society with completely selfless intentions. This feeling of being a generous and selfless person can boost self-confidence, lower stress levels, and contribute to the overall development of a person’s core values and beliefs.

NGO Right Ways to Volunteer:

Saviour Foundation Volunteers Team to help you with children’s projects, women’s empowerment, orphanage volunteering and teaching volunteer projects in India. We hope that after completing the volunteer programme in India, you will share your experience with friends/family and encourage them to become a volunteer in India with Saviour Foundation.

Organise a Blood Drive

Blood drives are essential for hospitals and their patients. The patients who need blood often need it desperately. If you help organise a blood drive, you could actually help save lives! When your blood donation is accepted, the donated blood is waiting in the blood banks for those who need it, not the other way around. Consider working with others to organise a blood drive for your school or workplace.

Donate Old Clothes

The season is changing and your clothes from last year may not fit. If you notice clothes piling up in your family’s closets – and you are looking for a way to help those less fortunate – donating clothes could be a super easy way to start. We collect all types of summer and winter clothing for children and adults at our collection center throughout the year.

A small gesture from you will be a blessing to poor, needy people to keep them happy during the cruel summerand winter seasons. So show your generosity and help us collect as many clothes as possible to keep the needy comfortable during the harsh summers and winters.

Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.

Why is Volunteering Important?

Volunteering is important as it offers essential help to worthwhile causes, people in need, and the wider community. Indeed, many organisations and charities rely on the generosity of volunteers.
If you are feeling lonely or simply want to widen your social circle, volunteering in your local community is an important – and fun – way to meet new people.

Reduces Depression and Stress

Volunteering reduces stress and depression because it encourages you to move more, connect with your community, and help those in need while studies do show that the more you volunteer, the more benefits you’ll experience, volunteering doesn’t have to involve a long-term commitment. Even giving in simple ways can help those in need and improve your overall health and happiness.

Volunteering is important for a sense of purpose

Volunteering is the best way to find our way back to the realities and understand the roots and traditions of a collectivist society. Volunteering, which is a distinctly human characteristic, essentially calls for sharing and caring about fellow human beings irrespective of one’s class, nationality, religion, race, mother tongue and so on.

Volunteering Connects You with Others
