Ruchira Sakorkar

Asian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) Patient Case No. 3040528.

The Baby of Ruchira Sakorkar (B/O Sravesh Sakorkar), a fragile neonatal female baby, was born prematurely at just 26 weeks of gestation, weighing only 660 grams. Diagnosed with multiple critical conditions — including Extreme Preterm Birth, Extremely Low Birth Weight (ELBW), Hyaline Membrane Disease, Respiratory Distress Grade 3, and Acyanotic Congenital Heart Disease — her life was hanging by a thread from the very moment she arrived in this world. Admitted to the Asian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Dombivli under the care of Dr. Abhijeet Singh on 28/11/2022, the tiny fighter required prolonged intensive care, specialized treatment, and continuous monitoring to survive.

Cost of Treatment:

The total estimated cost for the baby’s intensive neonatal care, ventilator support, medications, and management of her heart condition was Rs. 5,80,000.00. Sadly, her parents, already burdened with emotional trauma, were financially incapable of managing the overwhelming medical expenses.

How Saviour Foundation Helped:

When the distressed family turned to Saviour Foundation, our team urgently took up the case under our Medical Support Program. Recognizing the gravity and delicacy of the situation, we promptly launched a heartfelt fundraising campaign and shared Baby Ruchira’s story across our compassionate community of donors, well-wishers, and CSR partners.

In a remarkably short time, we raised the crucial funds needed for her ongoing intensive care and treatments. The foundation also worked closely with Asian Institute of Medical Sciences to facilitate seamless medical services and ensure the baby’s critical needs were met without delay. Emotional strength and moral support were constantly extended to the anxious family, reminding them that they were not alone in this fight.

Today, with the grace of timely intervention and the collective kindness of many, Baby Ruchira has shown remarkable improvement. She continues to receive care with hope for a brighter, healthier future.

Thanks to Our Donors and Supporters:

This moving story of resilience and survival would not have been possible without the boundless generosity of our donors, well-wishers, and CSR associates. Saviour Foundation expresses its deepest gratitude to everyone who stood by Baby Ruchira and her family — offering not just financial help, but also hope, prayers, and strength.

Your compassion saved a delicate life and gifted this precious soul a second chance to grow, heal, and someday embrace the world.
