Sahid’s Story

Sahid Kumar, an innocent 2-year-old boy from Faridabad, was diagnosed with a rare case of urinary bladder stone — a painful and serious condition requiring immediate surgical intervention. The illness posed a grave risk to his health, causing severe discomfort and threatening long-term complications if left untreated.

After losing his father, Sahid was left in the sole care of his mother, Nandani, a daily wage labourer. Struggling alone to raise her child while earning a meager income, arranging funds for her little boy’s urgent surgery seemed an impossible task.

Financial Challenge

The estimated cost for Sahid’s surgery, hospital care, diagnostics, and medications was ₹89,300.00. With no financial backup and barely enough to meet daily household expenses, Nandani reached a point of despair, fearing for her child’s life and wellbeing.

When Nandani approached Saviour Foundation, our team promptly took up Sahid Kumar’s case under the Save A Life Program. Understanding the urgency and severity of the situation, we immediately:

• Launched a targeted fundraising campaign.
• Mobilized our donor network and CSR partners.
• Collaborated with Vibal Hospital, Faridabad for swift admission.
• Facilitated Sahid’s surgery under the expert care of Dr. R D Negi.
• Provided emotional and financial support to the grieving family

Within a short span, we successfully raised the required funds and ensured Sahid’s treatment without delay.

Today, following a successful surgery and timely medical care, Sahid Kumar is on his way to a healthy and happy childhood. His mother’s eyes, once filled with worry, now sparkle with gratitude and renewed hope — a testament to the power of collective goodwill and community support.
