Umar Story of Courage Against Cancer
Umar, a brave and innocent 3-year-old child, was diagnosed with Blood Cancer (Leukemia) — a critical and life-threatening illness that demanded immediate and continuous medical intervention.
Cost of Treatment:
The total estimated cost for Umar’s chemotherapy, blood transfusions, medications, and supportive care was Rs. 3,20,000.00. Unfortunately, Umar’s father, a daily wage labourer, was financially incapable of bearing the heavy expenses of such prolonged and costly treatment. The family was heartbroken and helpless, watching their little one suffer in pain.
How Saviour Foundation Helped:
When Umar’s family approached Saviour Foundation in desperation, our team immediately took up his case under the Medical Support Program. Aware of the urgency and seriousness of the situation, we quickly launched a fundraising campaign and raised awareness about Umar’s condition within our compassionate community of donors, supporters, and CSR partners.
Within a short time, we successfully mobilized the necessary funds to begin Umar’s chemotherapy and ensure his regular blood transfusions. Our foundation closely collaborated with the hospital to guarantee his swift admission and continuous medical care. Beyond financial aid, emotional and moral support was also extended to the family, assuring them they were not alone in this difficult battle.
Today, because of the collective efforts of our team and kind-hearted supporters, Umar has successfully started his treatment journey and is responding positively to care, bringing renewed hope and relief to his family.
