1. Is Saviour Foundation an International organization?
Saviour Foundation is an Indian trust and almost all Saviour Foundation supporters are Indian. Saviour funds are deployed in India to benefit underprivileged Indian children and a small proportion is also invested in other causes
2. How the Saviour foundation got the donation?
Saviour foundation is completely dependent on the individual’s donation across a country.
3. How Saviour Foundation does raise resources?
Saviour Foundation raises valuable resources through:
- Individuals’ Efforts.
- Corporate and institutional donations.
4. Saviour Foundation provides the names of children to donors?
Yes, Saviour foundation does provide the name of children to the donors, and also, we pool the resources we raise and disburse them to the programmers we support—every step is taken to ensure that there should be no differentiation between children and while the names of children are also mentioned to make things clear, we encourage you to visit the projects we partner to experience the various ways to which your resources are utilized.
5. How does the Saviour Foundation reach out for basic rights to children?
Saviour foundation believes that society enlistment is one of the reasons to ensure sustainable change.
It’s being from the beginning, our approach has ensured that children, their parents, and communities are informed about their rights and engage with their local government bodies to make sure that the reasons for their immediate problems are solved.
6. How are resources used?
We have learned that effecting long-term, sustainable change requires a holistic approach. Accomplish these kinds of change important works are:
- Direct action with children in the form of education and health care.
- Community mobilization towards the success of their rights.
- Advocacy with government bodies to influence policy framing and implementation.
Financial support and non-financial inputs in the form of organization development, capacity building, and training are extended to:
- Individuals and projects working with underprivileged children and their parents, with local communities and government bodies.
- Resource organizations provide training, education material, etc. to the smaller, younger initiative in particular
- Agencies that function as small Saviour foundation, permitting us to increase our reach
7. Are Saviour foundation employees paid for their work?
Full-time employees are given regular salaries. We believe that motivation is very important to attract the professional who manages our activities, resources effectively. It is important to note, however, that salaries are reserved in comparison with commercial organizations.
8. Does the Saviour foundation receive government funding?
As a non-government organization, we do not receive any direct government funding. We work independently, making unbiased evaluations of government policies and programmers. Saviour foundation is completely dependent on the individual’s donation.
9. The problem is huge! Will my small contribution make a difference?
It most certainly does. A small amount goes a long way and we are completely dependent on the individual’s donation across a country. Small contributions that collectively add up to a large amount needed to effect change. There are people all over who are concerned about the children’s present situation and who want to do something to change it. However, their commitments and pressures do not allow them to go out and directly work with children. Saviour foundation provides them the opportunity to help in whatever way they can. They can contribute their money, materials, time, or skills. This collective action has an impact and brings about change. Every individual’s contribution is important.
10. What is the role of the Saviour foundation in ensuring child rights?
At Saviour foundation believe that sustainable change for children is possible only when we address the root causes – such as non-functioning schools, child labor, unemployed parents, non-availability of healthcare centers, etc – that keep children away from their rights and vulnerable.
Along with the support from over 200 grassroots-level partner NGOs, we work with children and communities to make them aware of their rights and empower them to address their issues and demand what is rightfully theirs. Therefore, ensuring not just a small change, but an entire movement towards sustainable change in the lives of the children and their families.
11. How does the Saviour foundation cover its costs?
Saviour foundation’s organizational costs comprise:
- Raising Funds.
- Selecting, monitoring, evaluating, and providing capacity building inputs to projects.
- Creating awareness of our children and their rights.
- Support activities like paperwork, human resources, e-mail, information expertise, and financial management.
- Designing paper products such as greeting cards, stationery, etc.
Office equipment, furniture, travel, courier services, information technology support, media, and advertising are some of the areas in which we receive free or discounted services from corporate partners as well as donations in cash. Exemptions from duties also help reduce our costs. Our revenue from corporate investments and other funds take care of our expense
It supports enables us to focus on our activities in the field rather than on our capability. Each rupee saved is deploying to benefit children. Every contribution in these areas free resources and enhance our capacity.
12. Is there any advantage to donating online?
Yes, when someone donates online, it helps us, as it is the most cost-efficient of collecting funds for the Saviour foundation.
13. Is it very complicated to donate online?
No, It’s a very simple and safe method. What you have to do to donate online on the Saviour foundation site:
- Decide the amount that you wish to donate for Saviour foundation’s work in general
- Fix the amount that you would like to donate once or if you want you can make it a recurring donation
- Enter your name, contact, and other details. Please be careful while entering all this information.
- Select your mode of payment between the Payment Gateway and other options and proceed.
- Fill in your credit/debit card/Bank account details. You will get an immediate confirmation of your donation through an email with a donation number and an instant receipt for your donation.
14. Which cards can I use to donate online?
You can donate by using your credit/ debit card online. Any card is acceptable.
15. Is it safe to give my credit/debit card details online?
Yes, it is very safe. We adopt stringent security measures to ensure the safety of your important information, such as your personal information and your credit/debit card details, which are protected. These measures include the following:
- All your personal information on the Saviour foundation is transmitted over the Internet. We ensure that your information is inaccessible to any third party.
- We use industry-standard SSL (Standard Sockets Layer) Saviour foundation Encryption Technology for data Safety.

17 . What if my address or phone number changes?
We have all your personal data safe with the saviour foundation site. You can change all your personal data – name, address, phone numbers, email id by simply calling or writing to us.
18. Can I donate in any other currency?
We accept donations only in Indian Rupees on the saviour foundation site in India. However, you can send us cheques in any other currency.
Donors residing in countries other than India, the US, and the UK, can also donate via bank transfers. Please write to us at info@savioursfoundation.org for details on this.
19 . Are there any tax benefits for donating to Saviour Foundation?
Donations to saviour foundation are exempt from 50% under section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Tax exemption is valid only in India.
20 . Will you send me a tax exemption certificate?
Yes of course. While donating, just mention that you wish to claim tax benefits. After this, the tax exemption certificate will reach you within 45 working days.

22 . What is saviour foundation’s donation refund policy?
Saviour foundation takes absolute care to process donations as per the instructions given by our donors, online and offline. However, in case of an unlikely event of an unfortunate situation or, if the donor would like to cancel his donation, SAVIOUR FOUNDATION will respond to the donor within 7 working days of receiving a valid request for a refund from the donor. The timely refund of the donation will depend upon the mode of payment like credit card /banking instrument used during the transaction. The donor will have to send SAVIOUR FOUNDATION a written request for a refund within 2 days of donating to Saviour foundation’s official address or email info@savioursfoundation.org along with-
- Proof of the deduction of the donated amount, any screenshot of the receipt.
- In cases the donation receipt has already been issued to the donor, the donor will have to return the original receipt to us.
- If the tax exemption certificate is already issued, then we are sorry but we will not be able to refund the donation. However, in case of a valid refund request due to an error on Saviour foundation’s part, SAVIOUR FOUNDATION will refund the donation and bear the costs of the same.
- International donations will need a minimum of 10 days for the refund process
